Mini Sagas

Write two fifty-word mini-sagas. The origins of the saga comes from Icelandic
prose dating back to the 12th century when locals would recount their warrior
battles. Today, a saga is referred to as a modern heroic narrative.

Your mini-saga should have 50 words. No more, no less. The stories must
have a beginning, middle and end. They must be interesting, and they may
not be autobiographical. Engage the reader.

Noisy Neighbors

Tim sat, lonely in his single dorm. His neighbors on either side were loud and noisy. They played loud music, had obnoxious friends over, and stayed up watching movies until 3 in the morning. None of this bothered Tim. He knew that his giant BOSE speakers were on their way.

Jonathan
Jonathan knew that he was going to be huge. When he left home, he told his mother and family that he would miss them. After months of wandering the country, he found himself in a mad scientist’s laboratory. No one could have possibly predicted that Jonathan would become a giant.

Pitch Your Ideas

These are two elevator pitches for a TV show presented to a Network Executive.
The second pitch is better and more effective. It would be more successful, as it is short and to the point. The ideas are more organized, and the main point is clear. It does not bring up and other TV shows like the first one does. It leaves the person being pitched to wanting more.
